Number of stations: 75
Research Vessel (Platform): Professor Kolesnikov
Organization: IBSS NASU
Region:
    Latitude range: 43°20'00" - 45°00'00"
    Longitude range: 31°15'00" - 34°45'00"
Parameter list
    Biology: Chlorophyll-a (Fluorometric method), Phaeopigments-a
    Physics: Secchi Disk visibility depth

Description:
*Data file(s): PK32wd.dat

*Format: Header data file format of the NATO TU-BS project.

*Ship (station) name: Professor Kolesnikov (MHI, Ukraine).

*Expedition: Cruise number 32.

*Parameters: Secchi disk depth, meters, Forel-Ule scale, grade
number.

*Instruments and methods: Standard Secchi disk (diameter 0.3 m)
was used with a wire winch from the 5 m height desk. Standard
Forel-Ule scale (21 color samples) was used for determination
of the water color comparing the color of the scale and the
color of the sea water column above the Secchi disk at the 1/2
of its visibility depth.

*Accuracy: The error of the depth determination is approximately
0.5 m.

*Processing (if applied): Corrections were made on the wire angle.

*Principal investigator(s): Victor I.Man'kovsky (MHI, Sevastopol,
Ukraine).

*Digitization: Double-key entry at the MHI (Sevastopol, Ukraine)
in September, 1993. Responsible - Dr. A.V.Mishonov.

*Remarks: Data are obtained by qualified stuff and are reliable.

*Completed by: Alexey V.Mishonov (MHI, Sevastopol, Ukraine).

*Date: 19.03.1996.

*Source of data: MHI NASU, UKraine

*Data file(s): pk32chl.dat.

*Format: station data file format of the NATO TU-BS project.

*Ship (station) name: R/V Professor Kolesnikov (MHI, Ukraine).

*Expedition: cruise number 32, December 1994.

*Parameters: Depth, chlorophyll a, (mg/m3); phaeopigments (mg/m3).

*Instruments and methods: chlorophyll a and phaeopigments were measured
fluorometrically by use of laboratory fluorometer constracted on the base
of spectrophotometer "Specol", fitted with a red sensitive photomultiplier,
blue lamp, blue filter and red filter.

*Accuracy: lower limit = 0.01 mg/m3 and the error of Chl and Phaeo
determination is 10-15% (calculated from 10-15 repeatings)

*Processing (if applied):

*Principal investigator(s): O.Yunev (IBBS-Department of ecological physiology
of phytoplankton, Ukraine).

*Digitization: single entry at the IBSS (Sevastopol, Ukraine).

*Remarks: Data are obtained by qualified stuff and are reliable.

*Completed by: Oleg Yunev (IBBS-Department of ecological physiology of phytoplankton).

*Date: 25.06.1996.

*Source of data: IBBS-Department of ecological physiology of phytoplankton.
