*Expedition: Cruise number 12-2

*Parameters: Temperature (deg.C), salinity (psu)

*Instruments and methods: CTD-probe ISTOK-5

*Accuracy: Temperature - 0.025 deg.C, Salinity - 0.025 psu

*Processing:

*Principal Investigator(s): V.A.Urdenko

*Digitization: Double-key entry at the MHI NASU (Sevastopol, Ukraine)
Responsible - Alexey V.Mishonov

*Data file(s): pk12_2tr.dat

*Format: Station data file format of the NATO TU-BS project.

*Ship (station) name: Professor Kolesnikov (MHI, Ukraine).

*Expedition: Cruise number 12-2

*Parameters: Beam Attenuation Coefficient at 422 nm, 1/m (by decimal
logaritm).

*Instruments and methods: The transparensy meter LFP. It is a
two-beam photometer with a single photoreciever and logaritm
amplifier. The LFP alows to record vertical profiles of beam
attenuation coefficient in different spectral intervals ( 8
interferenc filters ) from 360 to 660 nm. It was used with a wire -
cable winch.

*Accuracy: The measurement error of the attenuation coefficient equal
0,01 1/m (by decimal logaritm). The error of the depth measurement is
2%.

*Processing (if applied):

*Principal investigator(s): Valery N. Voskresensky (MHI, Sevastopol,
Ukraine).

*Digitization: Double-key entry at the MHI (Sevastopol, Ukraine)
in September, 1993. Responsible - Dr. A.V.Mishonov.

*Remarks: Data are obtained by qualified stuff and are reliable.

*Completed by: Viktor I. Mankovsky (MHI, Sevastopol, Ukraine).

*Date: 11.12.1996.

*Source of data: MHI NASU, Ukraine
