*Data file(s):  \PEKTAS\*.dat

*Format: station data file format of the NATO TU-BS project.

*Ship (station) name: R/V Arar, Istanbul University, Turkey

*Expedition: Pektas expedition

*Parameters:

*Instruments and methods:

*Accuracy:

*Processing (if applied): QC: T and S were altered: T = Torg - 0.1; S = Sorg + 0.45;
                          Erroneus T, S were removed.

*Remarks: This inagural Turkish basin scale Black Sea cruise was
accomplished during June26 - August 8, 1957. The region covered
was essentially to the south of 45 North latitude. Salinity,
temperature, dissolved oxygen, alkalinity, nutrients, plankton
and egg-larvae density were the primary parameters measured.

Original printouts contain following units:
O2 - mg/l, (PO4, NO2, NO3) - mg/m3
It looks like values of O2, mg/l were wrongly recalculated to DO-W, um
in assumption that original units are ml/l.
Values of PO4, NO2, NO3 in the database are the same as in printouts,
but database units are different!!
