*Format: Station data file format of the NATO TU-BS project.
*Ship name: Gilortul or Palamida (RMRI, Constantza, Romania).
*Expedition: Two cruises each year in spring (April or May)
and autumn (September or October), 3 transects with 11-15
stations in front of Danube Delta (Sulina, Sf.Gheorghe and

*Parameters:Zoobenthos total biomass (g/m2).
*Instruments and methods: Sampling on depths on bathymetric
zones: 7m, 10-20m, 20-30m, 20-30m, 30-40m, 40-50m with
Van Veen grab (1/20m2); samples treated on board with 4%
formaldehyde. In laboratory, each sample was sieved by 1mm, 0.25mm,
0.10mm mesh screen; animals were removed under a microscope, identified
to  species and counted. The biomasses of the organisms smaller
than 2mm were calculated using tables of weights and of those than 2mm
by weighting.
